There are several flavors of
Import/Export
- Importing/Exporting
a Stormset - or the entire
state of the Scanner
Stormsets have a file
extension of .sct and are
found in the Stormsets
folder. The stormset
that stormtracker is
configured with at
installation is stormset1.sct
The other methods of
Importing/Exporting are similar -
each one of the following is
accomplished by right-clicking on
the appropriate configuration
window, which brings up a menu
letting you either import or
export. You can see from the
description below that the Studies
import/export is slightly
different than the rest.
- Importing/Exporting a
Study - .std file
extension,saved in the studies
folder
Exporting a Study includes the
Timeframe
Importing a Study adopts the
TimeFrame being imported TO
- Importing/Exporting a
Condition - .cnd
extension, saved in the
Conditions folder
All Studies and timeframes
required are imported/exported
- Importing/Exporting a
Complex Condition - .cc
extension,saved in the
ComplexConditions Folder
All Studies, timeframes,
Conditions required are
imported/exported
- Importing/Exporting a
Module(Trading System) -
.mod extension, saved in the
Modules Folder
All Studies,timeframes,
Conditions and Complex
conditions required are
imported/exported.
