Now you can scan for news using Stormtracker's newest feature.   You can scan for news up to 5 days back and filter symbols having news or symbols that don't have news, or you can view all symbols, with and without news.  This feature is available in all modules and it's easy to use - if a symbol doesn't have news within the user-specified time frame, it appears in every module with an asterisk.  Symbols with news appear without the asterisk.

News Scan will scan for news on all symbols in the user's current symbol set as selected in Load Symbols/Sectors window. A symbol will be indicated as NOT having any news within the specified time period by an asterisk to the right of the symbol, in all the modules the symbol appear in. A symbol that HAS news within the specified time period does not have an asterisk to the right of it.The news source used is the Yahoo financial website. If a symbol is double clicked in any module, a browser window will be opened that shows the Yahoo news for that symbol.There are 3 settings that can be adjusted:

                            Show All Symbols - shows symbols whether they have news or not
                            Show Symbols With news
                            Show Symbols w/out news

Doubleclicking on the BGEN symbol brings up the Browser with the Yahoo news for BGEN
