Using the programmable
feature of SuperStormtracker, you can combine any of the predefined
modules(strong/weak new highs/lows, intraday breakouts, stochastics, etc) and
the user-defined modules (moving averages, momentum, Delta Volume Strength,
etc) into a programmable module. Now you can program a module to filter
for strong stocks that are oversold, or weak stocks that are above their
declining moving averages, for example. There are many possible
combinations.
Incredibly you don't need to learn a cumbersome programming language to
accomplish this. Simply point and click as the example below
demonstrates.
The Add/Edit Module is used to combine the Base and Editable Modules to program the functionality desired in the Programmable Modules This is done by "attaching" a Base or Editable Module to the Programmable Module. The functionality of a Programmable Module is determined by the modules that are attached to it. When a module is attached to another module it becomes a Module Collection, and its functionality is determined by the intersection of all Modules in the Collection. To start the Add/Edit Module click on the ModuleCollections menu item on the main Stormtracker toolbarIn order to attach a Module
Select the Base or Programmable Module in the Combo Box labeled Module Collections(PM1 is selected in the example below)
Select a Base or Editable Module underneath the Modules label(the left side of the window)
Click Add and the module name will be transferred to the right side
Click Save to complete the attachment process
