Configuring TimeFrames

The ability to configure multiple timeframes is one of the strengths of Stormtracker V4.0. The timeframes range from Monthly, Weekly Daily, to multiple intraday timeframes configured by the user.

There are 3 fixed(can't be removed) timeframes, Monthly, Weekly and Daily.

The user can add intraday timeframes by right-clicking in the Intraday timeframes Area and selecting the number of minutes in the bar.

User Tips:

  1. You can only add/delete timeframes when you are NOT scanning. Typically users will configure the scanner for the intraday timeframes they use and this configuration doesn't need to be changed after that.
  2. If you delete a Timeframe, studies in the timeframe will be deleted. In addition conditions and complex conditions and modules related to those studies in the timeframe will be deleted.

When you delete a timeframe with dependencies, a warning will come up telling you that the dependencies will be deleted.
This warning can be disabled by configuring the "Prompt to Delete Dependencies" setting in the Configure window, to "no"
